a pit bull named Pun-UPDATE ADOPTED!
I've been posting 'purebreeds' in the hopes they'd get adopted, and there are so many pit bulls on the site i know people generally arent interested in them but i have to post this guy. He has the most expressive face. Sad story too. Ive been hoping he be adopted by niw but he's been on the site since dec 23. So here's

Every time i put a pet up here turns out they get adopted shortly thereafter...hope it works for pun

What a beautiful boy So sad that he had a good home and was given up. I pray he gets adopted by a loving family soon.

If I didn't have 3 of my own and a newborn I would be all over that. I posted to my facebook. Hopefully this handsome boy finds a forever home soon!

I keep thinking about this guy and going back to look at his sweet face.
He looks like a mix of great dane to me.

What a beautiful beautiful dog! I hope someone steps up and adopts this handsome boy. One of the things that worry me about good dogs being in shelters for too long, is that they might lose their doggy manners....Thank goodness for the volunteers who are able to go in and give them some of the attention that they need. Pun needs someone to continue loving him, training him, walking him, playing with him. I pray that he is adopted quickly!
I get so frustrated at the human world sometimes. People are so resistant to adopt pitbulls. I understand that they have a bad rap. But we hit the trails often and over the years I've come across SO MANY PITBULLS and they are always the most friendly, obedient, and lovable mushy dogs. It makes me sad that some bad publicity and some bad stories can turn off so many people to a breed of such wonderful dogs.
Saying my prayers for Pun! Let's hope all of our prayers are answered quickly for him!!!

i know. he's so handsome.
he's been there so long now, he's probably going nuts and then they'll label him a behavior problem and then you know what's next.
