A place to paint pottery?

Looking for a place to bring DD where she can pick out a piece of pottery that we can paint it together.

We are in Lindenhurst. Any suggestions?

There is a place in Massapequa Park on Merrick Road...and for the life of me I can't think of the name right now!!! Made By Me?? ....I think....
It's just east of Massapequa High School, and I think in the same strip as Cactus Salon.

i doubt it's still there - but Millie's Plastercraft used to be a GREAT place!

it was in Lindy when i was a kid...which is why i doubt that it's still there.

Cool Crafts of LI is a good one for younger kids, but it's on Hempstead Tpke in Levittown. It's in that big shopping center with BJ's and Kohl's and Stone Cold Creamery.

We've also gone to Creative Corner in Bellmore but it's better for older kids IMO. It's real pottery and they have to paint each piece 3 times, waiting for it to dry between each coat.
