A question about CIO when they know how to stand.

I am doing cio and now that she knows how to stand she is just getting up and screaming. Before she would lay down and cry herself to sleep basically but now how does this work? will she eventually lay down?

If she knows how to sit from a standing position then she will eventualy sit down/lay down.

She will lay down. Hang in there, its tough.

Yep, eventually she will get tired of crying and lay back down and go to sleep.

I let my DD CIO (really, fuss not cry) every night if she's still awake after I nurse her. She stands up in the crib all the time, but she eventually falls asleep. First she would plot down on her tush, now she knows how to go down on her knees and then sit & lay down.

To answer yoru question, yes, they eventually lay down. Standing is new & fun, but when they're tired they'll lay down & go to sleep (it just may take awhile).

My daughter not only stands and screams my name over and over and over......she also holds her pillow in one hand and her baby in the other....it breaks my heart....but eventually she goes to sleep

When we CIO (which isn't that often these days thank goodness) Noah eventually just sits down and goes off to sleep...
