abnormal pap and coloscopy?
I have hpv. Everytime I get pregnant, my pap comes back abnormal. After I give birrth it is normal. This time (my 3rd dc), it did not return to normal. I have a coloscopy scheduled. I am terrified. I don't know what to expect. I am afraid to hear the results. Does anyone have any advice or stories to share? Thanks

I have had 3..Feel free to pm me any questions.. Its more uncomfortable than painful. They go in and literally snip a little area to send for testing. It almost feels like if you snip your skin with a nail clipper. You have some bleeding, and cramping for a few days. Good luck!

I had the same thing while pregnant...and I also just recently had another pap and the HPV is gone. FM if you have any questions.

I got myself sick with worry, so the first thing is to calm down and not worry. The procedure itself is fine, slight cramping and some bleeding after. I do recommend taking an Advil about an hour before your appointment. Look into adding more fruits and vegetables with antioxidants to your diet and a multi-vitamin.
