Acid Reflux in newborn
My baby 3weeks, is exclusivly breastfed and will sometimes start gagging about a hour after eating. Anyone else experience this and if so did you do anything to help it?

gagging as in spitting up?
first step... take her to the ped to see what they diagnose her with.
My DD was diagnosed w/reflux at 2 weeks, and her ped didn't want to do the medicine route.
In lieu of that... he told me to put a half tsp of rice cereal in her bottle to every ounce of milk that she was drinking....
so if she was drinking a 2oz bottle, she was getting a full teaspoon of rice cereal.
go talk to her ped though, and see what steps he/she wants to take!

i breastfed dd for six months, and for the first few months she had acid reflux. make sure to always burp your dc and keep him/her upright for half an hour after nursing.
