Acne during pregnancy and gender (poll)

I'm just curious to see the poll results on this... those who had really bad skin throughout their entire pregnancy and already know the sex of the baby or have had your baby, is it a or ?

I guess I'm the only one who voted My acne is getting out of control and it's a ! My coworker told me today that I'm glowing but I think it's because of the bare minerals...not the hormones!

I had acne I would not say bad but had it till about 16 weeks all on my forehead and I had a girl

i have all forehead acne, especially hairline - and it's a boy.

Although ALL of the "girl" old wives tales have held true for me.

I've had bad acne -- like the kind where I can never get a completely clear face. I also am getting blemishes on my back, my arm and neck

I'm having a little -- increased estrogen perhaps?

ive had the worst skin since becoing pregnant. nothing like ive ever had.but i dont know what im having (i secretly think girl)

I had bad skin before being PG. When I got PG, my skin cleared up on its own. Then around 4 months, my skin broke out pretty bad. It cleared up again around 6 months and was clear the rest of my Pregnancy. I had a boy!!

i have basically normal skin when not pg, with the occasional hormonal breakout.

last pg i had a boy and my skin was much better than normal.

this pregnancy i'm having a girl and my skin is a MESS

also, my hair was thicker and nicer first time around, whereas this time around it's stringy and greasy

bad acne, and , though it has improved after the 24th week or so.

my dermatologist said he feels the testosterone from causes more breakouts, but who knows. i am prone to breakouts anyway, so i may have been this bad regardless of the sex of

I didn't have acne problems with either pregnancy & I have one of each.

Hah! I've been eating more cream cheese and mac & cheese than I normally would but nothing too crazy. I know i'm making myself crazy over reading old wives tales on the internet!!
