so i registered for an activity gym thing but is there something different with a tummy time thing???

You can do tummy time on an activity gym.

Tummy time is just a term, unless something new has come out that I'm not aware of. Babies are supposed to have tummy time each day to help learn head control and build muscles to support their head and neck. It can be done anywhere.

activity gym vs tummy time
I usually did tummy time on the activity mat or boppy. You don't need anything special- you can just put your LO on a blanket.
