activity mat question

we have the Tiny Love circus animal one and i have wood floors. is it ok to put her on the mat on the wood floor? i've been putting it on the bed and having her do tummy time on it there but i wonder if the firmer surface would be better? or is it too hard

Re: activity mat question

I would put it on the floor. If you are nervous put a blanket underneath.

I wouldn't put it on the bed, what if DC rolls off?Chat Icon

We always put ours on hardwood floor. It wasn't a problem at all.

Re: activity mat question

if you have an old comforter put that on floor and then mat on top. i know when my dd does tummy time she drops her head down, if wooden floor she would bang it

yeah same here. i put two blankets down and a pillow under his feet because he kicks them up and they come down hard.

Re: activity mat question

I put a thick blanket underneath and put it on the floor - however, be careful once she starts rolling because the surface area isn't that large and I actually put blankets all around it because DS rolls off of it very easily and i am afraid he will whack his head!

We have the same one, and a lot of the time, it's on a wood floor. Sometimes we bring it in the living room, and there it is on a carpet.
