I didn't watch the Grammy's last night. But this AM I was listening to party 105 and the two DJ's made some joke about Adele being the "Huge" winner last night. And then they said "no pun intended" and laughed. I don't think I'll ever listen to their morning show again. She is NOT huge, she is the size most of the women in the US are. I thought it was sad that they said that.

I think she is very talented and beautiful. She is a big girl though and I think that is the reason why she chose these dresses...to sort of camouflage her weight. They're not that bad...

I wouldn't call her a big girl. She looks average to me. She's beautiful. I believe Carrie Underwood wore a similar style dress (covered up).

She is one classy broad. I think she is so refreshing and I admire her staying true to herself. DS and I dance around to her albums almost every morning, he really loves her.

Well, she is doing a FIIIINE job looking about 30 years older! I don't care that she is a big girl: she is not so shapeless and mornidly obese that she might as well wear a moo moo and call it a day. She is quite attractive! What happened to accentuating the positives?? Common, girlfriend!!

Same here! It's such a breath of fresh air from everyone else out there. She is vintage, and I love it. And yes I love the dress as well. The good thing is she can be completely covered from head to toe and open her mouth and have people  her on her voice.

I think she's beautiful and I loved both dresses. I think we are conditioned to see as much skin on celebrities as possible.
I don't think she's fat but she's not the typical super star skinny. Her body reminds me of Kate Winslet before she lost weight. It will be interesting to see if fame makes her slim down like it does with a lot of stars.

 I agree 100%. she has a fantastic voice and seems so genuine down to what she wears. She doesnt bend to what Hollywood wants stars to look like and frankly thats very refreshing in todays looks-obsessed media-frenzy society.

So did Katy Perry--non of them looked matronly--but I did think the long sparkly gowns were a little formal for the occasion. Loved Adele's performance dress though!
I wonder if she got called matronly called more than the others because hers was black, or because her hair isn't blue, or because she is bigger?
Although for the record-Guilianna & Joan called Katy Perry matronly on Fashion Police.
