Karl Lagerfeld needs to sit down and shut up already. He needs to just ride off into the sunset to shady pines. He's always running his mouth off !
Meanwhile he's always dressed like death's chauffeur

I guess I'm one of the few who really doesn't care for her music. Everyone else on the planet seems to think she walks on water. I am just not a fan of her style of music.
I'm with you. I liked "Rollin' in the Deep" but it was immensely overplayed and I hate "Someone Like You."

You guys aren't alone, I don't love her either. I'll agree that she's got talent, but I usually change the channel if her songs come on.

In a musical prison...I mean "era"...where the likes of Nikki Minaj and Lady Gaga take control, she is a breath of fresh air.
Love her and her style.

Mean while not too long ago he had his own battle w/ the scale. I find it sad that some one who once too was in the media and judged would turn on her. Just shows that he lacks an important amount of class. IMAGE

I loved her first album "19" and she was only played on like RXP , EHM, FUV, etc....
Now that her music is being turned techno/dance tracks, I'm over her. It's sad. She doesn't have to be forced to have her music and style "relate" to every single demographic.
She's going to be over saturated, and then people are going to get sick of her.

Totally agree, she is a great singer, but just not my style.
A few weeks ago I almost started a thread called "Am i the ONLY one who doesn't love Adele?"
I can't stand "Someone Like You" - the lyrics bother me. Move on with your life and stop singing to a married man

That song makes me want to slit my wrists! Talk about depressing. And stalkerish....

Re: Adele
Her current singles are very played out - I was into "Rolling in the Deep" over a year ago, so having to hear it played everyhwere now is annoying.
That said her "19" album is amazing...and didn't get enough exposure over here in the states.

I do love that song because I just love the music of it, but a few days ago I actually decided to listen to the lyrics and thought to myself: "This song should really be called "The ballad of a sad stocker! "
I mean, "I had hoped you'd see my face and you'd be reminded that for me it isn't over"?? The poor man can call the cops just for that line alone!!

She wrote the song when someone who broke up with her got engaged shortly thereafter. It's not stalkerish, she was hurting

Re: Adele
I think she looked classy... I think she's extremely talented but I'm so sick of her music. I feel like all her songs sound the same. Maybe they're just outplayed.

How old IS she?? Way under 60, I would imagine? Why is she dressing like she is about to start collecting Social Security??
she's 23
SERIOUSLY????
I was just about to look this up- my DD and i were talking about this. If she is 23 she looks WAY to old for her age. i thought she was 37ish

Re: Adele
I read that she plans on taking 4 or 5 years off to focus on her new relationship and write a happier album.
I thinks shes fantastic. I haven't heard one of her songs that I didn't like.

Re: Adele
It always baffles me why they release certain songs as singles and not others. If I had to choose a first single (or second for that matter) on the 21 album it would not have been rolling in the deep, or someone like you. Set Fire to the Rain is a great song, Rumor has it, Turning tables, One and Only. Those would have been great choices. But I do agree that these songs are played out.
