If you can do a party during the week , than it is always cheaper. also there are always coupons in your local penny saver for places in your area and in thenparents magazines around town.
Phoenix gymnastics and mid island gyymastics are both great and not too expensive.
we are having Chloe's 3rd birthday at Wood Kingdom this year. Also found a $5o off coupon in the penny saver or one of the local magazines so I thought it was well worth it...
Do cake from Costco and go to the dollar store for favors. also use the invitations and thankyou's from the venue..

We had DS at McDs last year and they did a great job! I loved it, the kids loved it and it was so easy, so cheap and quick!
We've also done a bowling party which is super cheap, super fun and SO easy!
I think this year we may do Pet Den in Commack or the LI Ducks.
