Affordable work clothes (mostly business casual)
I might need to get a new wardrobe for a new job......I don't want to break the bank, but I want to look nice. Where are you getting your clothes?

I would say Old Navy, Kohls, JcPenneys. I also have a few peices from Motherhood, they have a nice clearance section.

Re: Affordable work clothes (mostly business casual)
I just got the cutest outfit from Maternity Works at the Tanger Outlets in Riverehead. It was $25 for a shirt and pants on clearance... made by Motherhood maternity. They had really great prices. For $102 I got five shirts and two pairs of pants.

Re: Affordable work clothes (mostly business casual)
After looking and looking, I got a suit from Liz Lange maternity in Manhasset. Unfortunately, that store is a different collection from Liz Lange for Target, and it was costly. However, I tried to find something for less and I failed. That store has great business casual clothing, not just suits. On days I do not have to wear suits, I dress casual and it seems that people are okay with that for a pregnant lady. I bought things from Gap, Kohls and Motherhood but I bought a lot less maternity clothing than I expected to.

Re: Affordable work clothes (mostly business casual)
Finding work clothing is tough--it's as if designers assume none of us are working!
I did get some pants at the Gap--they have some decent business casual clothing. Mimi Maternity has nice things too, though their stuff is more expensive. I also got a couple wrap dresses from Target this summer, and they looked nice for work. Pea in the Pod has nice stuff, but very $$$ IMO.
I found Old Navy to be too casual. Ann Taylor Loft has a maternity line, but the selection is pretty limited.

Re: Affordable work clothes (mostly business casual)
Almost all of my business casual stuff came from the Gap. I also got a lot of big non-maternity tops from the Loft (they had all those big tops this summer) that lasted me the entire way and a couple from Mimi Maternity. And a tip, shop Gap online often especially if you see something you like. Many times, I'd check back in 3 weeks and get the stuff I liked on sale

Re: Affordable work clothes (mostly business casual)
my job is business casual and i got all of my work pants at target on clearance. i just watched the racks and within a week or two all of the maternity gets marked down. my shirts came from target and old navy. with the styles that have been out for regular clothes i got a lot of shirts that weren't maternity just in bigger sizes. kohl's always has good sales on their clothes, i just didn't care for their maternity - kind of farty looking.

Re: Affordable work clothes (mostly business casual)
I have a bunch of stuff from Old Navy that was inexpensive and I can wear to work. My office is definitely more causal then most but I found nice capri pants appropriate and I think I bought a few long pants. I live down south and it is still very warm here so I will be wearing capris for at least another month or so.
