After a transfer... a couple questions
I don't post very often, but I have been lurking for a long time. I just have a couple of questions. My FET will be in two days.
After the transfer did you stay off your feet for the day?
Did you have cramps after?
If you got a BFP did you do anything different that you did for your fresh transfer?
TIA

Re: After a transfer... a couple questions
There are many opinions on bedrest after transfer...
For me, I did one fresh and one frozen before I got my BFP.
For the fresh and first frozen, my doctor said bedrest for 48 hours. I took it very lightly and basically just tried to stay off my feet for most of the day... but I did hang out in a chair on the computer, cooked dinner, etc.
For my second FET, I was very strict with the bedrest. I literally stayed in bed for the entire 48 hours with the exception of going to the bathroom. I didn't even shower! And I remained LAYING down the entire time. I just rented the first season of a show I had been wanting to watch and just did nothing but watch it! After the 48 hours, for the next few days I took lukewarm showers instead of my normal scalding hot ones. Oh and I also ate lots of pineapple (especially the core) during the 48 hours after.
Do I think that these are the things that MADE me get pregnant? Umm... no, not really. But I knew that whichever way things turned out, I wanted to... FOR ONCE... have no regrets and no second-guessing my actions post-transfer. After the first fresh and frozen, I kept kicking myself and thinking that maybe I should have stayed in bed... etc.

Re: After a transfer... a couple questions
My RE said bedrest the day of transfer and I could resume normal activity after that. So I stayed on the couch for most of the day, really taking only bathroom breaks. The next day I went to see a cousin that was in town, but I took it easy. I wasn't on my feet much & I hung out in a lounge chair for a couple hours, then laid on the couch when I got home. I resumed normal activity on the 3rd day (still no exercise).
I had cramping after the transfer, but it wasn't bad. I'm hoping it was cramping from the little guys implanting, but it could be from my follicles still filling up with fluid. Hopefully it's the former!
I haven't taken a test yet b/c my transfer was on Sunday, but I hope it's a BFP!
