All this talk about SLR cameras - any tips on use?
I have one. The Canon Rebel XTI but can't figure out for the life of me how to use it!!
Any pointers? Do you guys manually set the camera or just use the automatic settings?

I've only had mine a month, and it's still on the Auto setting. My camera came in a package with 2 DVDs that I plan on watching soon, and I want to get a book to go through as well.
Did you get a video with yours? Is there a manual you can buy that's more detailed?

I have the Nikon d40x version and it is REALLY HELPFUL.
