Alternating tylenol and motrin?
To lower a fever- how long in between is ok?

I always go on the lower end til th fever breaks, every 4 hours.

I give it to him according to the directions on bottle - 4 hours for Tylenol and 6 hours for motrin.

I do believe tylenol is every 4-6 on the bottle, I gauge the time by how high her fever has gotten or if went down then started climbing again within a certain time period on when to give whether it be 4 or closer to 6

Ok, I was just reading to alternate every three hours. So, tylenol, three hours later Motrin, three hours later tylenol, etc.

Iwas just about to post this question. I guess Madeline is not the only one running a fever.
OK- My Dr says to give tylenol 3-4 hours after giving Motrin.
I hope all the little munckins feel better.

Yep, sara had 102 before. SHe looks so sick. Motrin seems to keep the fever down though
