Am I being a worry wart? Updated
So I got my surge on my opk today (regular and digital) tHis morning and this afternoon. I'm scheduled to have my iui tomorrow morning. I'm so nervous that I'm going to o tonight and miss my opportunity for this month. Why do they have you come in the day after the surge? Why did they not have me trigger? Either way, can you guys give me some insight at to when you o after the surge. I mean, I'm assuming my RE knows what they are doing, but just second guessing everything.....thanks
Update-
Well, I had my iui at 8:30 this morning. I also had them do bloodwork. They just called and said I am indeed surging and that the iui was timed perfectly They seemed satisfied with the wash count (10 mil) even though from researching a little I think that is on the low side Either way, I'm going to remain positive and realistic at the same time. It is all in Gods hands and if it is meant to be this month, then it will happen (regardless of any of the factors!). Please keep me in your prayers along with all of us on here. Thank you

Re: Am I being a wart?
I second guess too, hence my earlier post about follie size. Trust your RE and any questions ask. The first time I triggeered and the IUi was the next afternoon. Last time and this time it will actually be almost 36 hours later. Usually you ovulate within 24-36 hours after trigger and I think the same is true with OPKS, they're a sign that you'll ovulate within 24-36 hours - you should be fine.

Re: Am I being a wart?
You will be fine... Tomorrow morning should be perfect timing for your IUI. Your dr. will probably do a sonogram after the IUI to see where the follies are. And like others have said - you usually O 24-36hrs. after you surge on the OPK. HTH!! GL!!

I don't think I'd call it being a worry wart, just all part of the lovely stress of infertility!! Shawnna

So glad that you had them do bloodwork to check... And to hear that it was timed perfectly!! Lots of GL to you in your TWW... I will probably be a week behind you...
