Am I crazy for even considering this? WWYD??
So on my way to drop DD off at daycare, I see at least 3 times a week a nun walking to the church. I pass the convent and the church on the day to DD daycare. Would it be crazy if I asked her if she wanted a ride? I would be more than happy to drop her off. Would it seem strange, since I would have my DD? When I told DH he thought I was insane for even thinking about it, especially bc DD would be in the car. The convent is over 2 miles away from the church and she is an older nun. Maybe early 70’s. I just feel really bad on these extremely hot days and also on the super cold winter days.

Maybe you can call the church to make sure the nun is legit (how sad that you have to say that in this era).

I think these are both valid thoughts (sadly but this is the world we live in) but I think it's definitely worth it to at least ask her.
I think what you want to do is a really nice thing.

What's crazy about offering kindness?  I would totally ask her if she wants a ride. If she declines, you still did a good thing.

Because offering a ride to a stranger, regardless of what outfit they are wearing, has a potential for danger.
I agree with the others about introducing yourself at the church and offering there.

Yes, I was actually thinking the same thing. Both valid points but I would see it more as the nun should be afraid than vice versa. I would still offer her a ride. very kind of you to even think about it

this is what i was going to say. I would try to meet her first at the church and then mention that you see her walking, etc. and offer the ride.
