Am I the only 5 months old mommy, who's DC still gets up 2-3 times to eat ?
She has a bottle during the day every 3 hours or so and cereal/fruit/veggie 3x a day ...When is she no longer going to be hungy in the middle of the night ??
I think tonight I will try to give her a 6oz bottle intsead of the 4oz and hope she doesnt waste it ( which is what usually happens) She likes a lot of small meals I guess

Sasha has been waking up twice for the last month. Since we are starting a little bit of sleep training (sorta), instead of rushing to feed her when she wakes, we try to soothe first.
She usually eats the first time-- but DH usually tries to soothe and I am not sure if he gives in too soon, the second time I can soothe her back to sleep. I am hoping that when she doesn't eat-- she will no longer wake, but the issue is really that she is getting out of the swaddle and waking herself up.

When my DD wakes up, she devours her whole bottle, so I almost will feel bad if I try to not feed her, thinking that she really is truly hungry...I don't know what to do

sasha does too-- when DH gives her the bottle. And when I was nursing her-- she would still eat for a good couple of mins at the second time.
My ped said they need to realize nighttime is for sleeping, not eating. IMO, if you can get them back to sleep by soothing them, it's a softer way to get them to sleep through the night as opposed to CIO. To me, it's baby steps as opposed to the full on sleep training. I personally think Sasha would sleep if she didn't wake herself up-- but every baby is different.

Chloe still wakes up twice to eat and lately has been waking up another once or twice because of startling herself (she breaks out of her swaddle). I can sometimes soothe her back to sleep once, but she usually will wake up again maybe a 1/2 hour later and then I will feed her. Im not sure if it's because she's hungry or because it's soothing (she is BF)...

Can you increase her bottles, or maybe just increase her bedtime bottle. For a while, we were giving Samantha a bigger bottle at bedtime which got her through the night, now she's on the same size throughout the day and is still sleeping through the night

DS is 6 months old and still waking up 2-3 times per night. He STTN once when I increased the bottles at daycare to 6 oz. I started solids 10 days ago. Now, he's eating solids twice per day, nursing before work and taking 3 6 oz bottles at daycare. We try to soothe him first with a pacifier, but he wants to nurse. I'm kind of used to it, but it's exhausting.
