Amanda Knox
So what do you think is going to happen?
Do you think she'll get off?
Do you think she has anything to do with murdering that girl Meredith?

Re: Amanda Knox
I definitely think she had some involvement. Not sure what the turnout will be. I'd really like to read up some more about the trial.

Re: Amanda Knox
I think that she and her boyfriend definitely had a strong involvement in the murder of that girl....but I would not fall off my chair ...if she gets off the hook.

Re: Amanda Knox
I don't think she did it. I don't think there was a motive? Makes no sense.
I hope she gets off.
I also don't understand how they have 3 people that murdered her? Couldn't it just have been one?

Re: Amanda Knox
I have only seen the Lifetime movie on this, so I feel that my opinion may be based on a media driven, inaccurate storyline BUT if I am basing it on that--oh she did it. After watching the movie I felt she and her BF were guilty. Again that was a movie, I am not sure what is true and what is made for tv.

Re: Amanda Knox
I think she was there, but I don't think she actually killed her. I think she was strung out on something, and just doesn't remember exactly what happened.

Re: Amanda Knox
Honestly, I'm lost on this one. I don't see a motive, so that's my biggest issue. I also don't really see evidence. But I see a lot of mixed up statements for no reason. at the end of the day, without solid evidence, I would like to see her go free. But, I also am not really aware of all of the facts. The media has had a heavy hand in shaping what we see. I feel like we saw much more of the actual facts in the Casey Anthony trial, OJ trial and some others. This one, at least as much as I have seen, has been media driven.

Re: Amanda Knox
I just keep remembering the stories about her turning cartwheels right after being told about the murder as if she didn't get it. She did seem strung out on something and disconnected from the real world. Seemed so peculiar. For some reason the press doesn't seem to be mentioning that lately. The BBC had a story a few days ago about her keeping a sex toy on view in the bathroom which upset her roommate.

Re: Amanda Knox
I think she was there and involved somehow but I don't know if she killed her. There really is no motive and the evidence is all screwed up.

Re: Amanda Knox
I have no idea what to believe in this case. dna evidence seems to have been handled wrong, evidence gathering is bad. I really need to read more on it to make a decision.
Nancy grace said this morning on GMA that she thinks she will be let go to keep the Italian-Us relations peaceful. im not sure if buy that.

Re: Amanda Knox
I just feel like there was way too much reasonable doubt to convict her. In this country I doubt she would have been convicted. Example- the casey anthony case

Re: Amanda Knox
There is great book called The Monster of Florence by Douglas Preston and Mario Spezi that details the corruption in the Italian justice system.
I believe that Douglas Preston has spoken out about the Amanda Knox case and Mignini's corruption.

Re: Amanda Knox
I've done quite a bit of reading on the case and I don't think there was nearly enough evidence to convict. I hope that she wins her appeal. She should not spend 20 plus years in prison with such scant evidence.

Yes he has and even mentions her in an updated edition of the book!! And everything in that book point to a bizarre and corrupt criminal justice system in that country. I think she is innocent.
