Danielle and her mom bought me the Kindle for my birthday. I feel bad, but I really want the nook. SO this week the Kindle is going back to Amazon and then I can get the nook

They meant well. I think in the long run you will love not having to buy books constantly. I love my Nook because of that.
Honestly, I probably would have stopped reading after a few months if I had to constantly invest in books. Now, I don't feel guilty using the Nook. Whether I read or stop reading for a while, I can just pop into the library website and get a free book for 2 week rental.
