An Update
A few months ago, I posted regarding DS and his speech and socialization issues. I also was concerned about the results of his IQ test. I just wanted to update. We received the report and one of the things we saw was that I had thought he had scored a 58 on his IQ test, when he had actually scored an 85. I had reversed the numbers when given them over the phone. He scored one point to qualify him on the Autism scale. Now that we have had time to process all of the information it's full steam ahead with getting him what he needs. I am so far impressed with how the district handled everything, as well as with his SLP who he sees three times a week. She is fantastic and he asks to go to speech class!
