And the hits just keep on coming!!!!!
My sister's car was parked in the hospital parking lot while we were all in with Kenneth - and SOMEONE hit it with their car while backing out (it looks like, at least) and broke the back light, scraped up the side, etc.
No note, no witnesses and the security cameras did not cover that area.
Well, it is FOUR THOUSAND dollars worth of damage. And we went to a trustworthy place so we know that is a reasonable estimate (it is someone that my FIL knows very well).
When will we get a break, seriously? I feel so bad for her.

someone told us that they had noticed damage on her car and we went out to look and there it was. 
this is the same sister who had a drunk driver run into her house - right through the side of the house just a week before my wedding. he then tried to BACK OUT of the HOUSE lol and drive away. my brother, who was there at the time, had to stop him.
seriously - we could write a book

they have cameras but they didn't cover that part of the lot - it is what it is - it's just funny how when it rains, it pours. i mean, my sister had to give up doing summer school this year to watch my nephew in my brother's absence -- so, she doesn't have the same amount of money coming in that she used to and it is hard so this doesn't help.

Ironic. I was on the way to see my brother at St. Francis last May, in fact to meet with the social workers about his transfer to rehab and someone hit me.
At the time he said he had no insurance. I had to enlist the help of a family friend in law enforcement to find out he did and I got my car fixed.
Sorry this happened..but in the grand scheme of life..it's just a car.

yeah - she'll have to lay out five hundred dollars.
not the end of the world - it just always seems like "when it rains, it pours". she just ended the school year worried, financially, about not being able to work summer school this year b/c she has to watch christopher in kenneth's absence.
so, she has been cutting back to be careful b/c she is single and has a house so just one salary - ya know, it's tough. then when this happened she was like oh great - just when i was trying to pinch pennies!

and thanks for letting me whine lol i know it's not big deal at the end of the day and everyone is OK - just feels kinda sucky right now.
it's the type of thing you just wanna go oyyyyy over 
ETA: that and i STILL can't believe how people can do that and leave w/o writing a note or leaving information! whoever did it MUST have known that they did - there's just too much damage not to know.
