And....we have a heartbeat!!!!
DH and I were crying like babies this morning. My dr. had me go to the hospital this morning for just an ultrasound (my first official OB appt is not until this Thursday) because I was spotting on Friday and all weekend actually. They didn't seem alarmed by the spotting at the hospital which is good, BUT, we did see the heartbeat. It was the single most amazing thing I've ever seen. Still to soon to hear it though.
Also, they adjusted my due date by a week, so I'm actually only 5w6d today instead of almost 7....don't know how they know but they do. So the dd is now Feb 17th (coincidentally my parent's anniversary).
So, just wanted to update you all and to relay my excitement. Thanks so much for the encouraging words on friday when I was spotting, it really did help alot!
Bring on the sticky dust!!!!

Thanks so much ladies!!! I love having all of your support.
We decided we're going to tell just our parents tonight. I can't wait to tell everyone our news actually but we're going to wait until we're in the clear.
How do you ladies do it??? How do stay so happy and try to maintain the optimism knowing anything could still happen?? I really need to start thinking more positively, i'm just suuuuuuch a worrier by nature. I'm going to make it a new resolution of mine though to flip the cup to half full, it can only help, right?

I am a total worrier too - still am at 19 weeks and am sure I will be with all my other babies too! I found it helped to tell a few people like our parents because they will help keep you come and they will be super positive which will rub off on you. Then you have additional support aside from just DH who I have found can only handle a finite amount of my worrying. 
Can't wait to hear their reactions!

Congratulations! Don't worry about being a few days behind. When I saw the heartbeat,  was measuring a week behind. At my almost 13 week sono, was measuring a week ahead.
As far as worrying in general, I don't have any advice since I'm constantly worried. Just try to think positive thoughts.

Thank you. Good to know...i'm glad they could possibly change. I was worrying (again) that maybe the baby was deficient or something, but if it could always change then I feel better. Does the due date change as well when they measure differently?

Thank you. Good to know...i'm glad they could possibly change. I was worrying (again) that maybe the baby was deficient or something, but if it could always change then I feel better. Does the due date change as well when they measure differently?
My doctor changed my due date after the first sono. I think that's usually when they're able to get the most accurate measurements. At this point, my doctor won't change my due date unless is measuring 10+ days ahead.
