Another cesspool question

So we had some bushes removed from the front of our house. They are not too far from where we believe the cesspool is placed. Anyway, as the man was removing the bushes he said the ground over he is very soft and the soil is moist. We have an issue with the downstairs toilet from time to time not flushing everything down, but I thought that was my hand husband fixing the floatChat Icon, but now I am wondering if it is the cesspool. I am pretty sure the cesspool is original has never really been cleaned.

Does this sound like it could be a problem? Anyone know?

Definitely could be. We knew we were having issues when our lower level toilet didn't flush properly and our shower drained really slow.

I would have someone come out and take a look. If the pools are original, its more than likely time for them to be replaced.

oh lord I hope not. We have a cesspool, an overflow and then one that they put into the back for the washing machine. Do you think we might all 3 cleaned too or possibly replaced. That would be around 15kChat Icon

No, even if you just had the main one and overflow one replaced, its probably close to about $3500... The one with the washing machine shouldn't have to be replaced.

Ah thanks Trish. You are making me feel better. We really need to get the windows done this year and my husband is one of those, one big project at a time people. It looks like we will have to look into both of these and he will have to deal.
