Another Disney mom question - clothing related
I'm trying to figure out what to bring for DD.
We are going in December and I know the weather can be unpredictable.
I have a few short sleeved tops and long sleeved tops. I have jeans, and shorts. I have a few dresses.
I want to buy the summer stuff now, because everything is on sale. But I don't want to go down there with 8 pairs of shorts and 2 pairs of pants, or vise versa.
Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.
FYI - DD will be a little over 2 when we go and I'm thinking she will be 2T/24 months. She may sprout up between now and then, but I'm really hoping she doesn't.

like you said, it totally is unpredictable because i've been down there when it's 50 degrees and then when i lived down there for 1 year it was late 70's. i'd pack equal amounts of shorts and jeans! make sure you bring a sweatshirt and you might as well pack a jacket too.

we went for a week last December and it was shorts/t-shirt weather most of the time during the days except for 1 day. At night you definitely need a sweatshirt and pants. There was one night (the xmas parade) that dropped down to 40 degrees. We wore our winter coats! You will need both types of clothes for sure!

It can be really unpredictable at that time. I went with DH back in 2002 the 1st week in January and it was 70's during the day (one day it hit 80) but was really chilly in the mornings and cold and gloves at night (it was 30's and 40's at night).
Whatever you do bring I would make sure that you bring outfits that you can layer (like jeans and a tee shirt - where you can throw a sweater or sweatshirt and a light jacket over and throw shorts in your bag for a change when or if it gets warmer during the day). This way you can shed the layers as it warms up. You could also look into some of those capri's that roll up and button so they can be pants or capri's or capris that turn into shorts.

We went for a week this past dec....one day was nice and we were in shorts and could go in the pool...but the rest of the time it was a little chilly.
We were in pants and short sleeves during the day and brought sweaters and jackets for the night time.
