Nope - they are usually on sale somewhere, and sometimes I buy the Target brand, which are a little cheaper. When they are on sale I stock up

Re: Another Playtex Drop in question
I buy Target brand ones. They are typically on sale for $5 or so for 100. I like them better than the Playtex brand because they are 8 ounces vs. 10 for the Playtex. I find the 10 ounces are too big unless of course your child drinks an 8 ounce bottle and you mix it IN the actual bottle.
Obviously they are more expensive than just having bottles that you don't need to continually buy liners for.

Expensive. no? PITA to prepare, yes. at least for me it was. I didn't use them past 2 weeks for just that reason.

Re: Another Playtex Drop in question
I buy them at BRU and they are like $8 for 100. So DS goes through 5 bottles a day. So 5 x 365 days = 1825 liners per year / 100 per box = 18.25 boxes x $8 = $146 over one year or about $12.15 per month.
Thats not counting any type of sale or when the baby is using 4oz bottles which are less $$, etc.
To me the cost is nothing, but you do have to remember to keep them in the house!
I love them because they are so easy to use. We only sterilize the nipples, just hand wash the "bottle" part, pop in a liner and you are good to go. I like the 10oz ones because DS is up to 7 oz per feeding, sometimes more.

Re: Another Playtex Drop in question
I did find that the cost added up. Also like the poster above mentioned you have to remember to have them in the house....so basically if you run out and you have no other bottles you are azzed out. For this reason plus hte extra garbage and the fact that my dog loved to eat the liners we switched to Glass bottles. Though I have to say they were a life saver since you don't have to wash them and in the beginning DD was drinking like 100 bottles a day

Re: Another Playtex Drop in question
I always buy the CVS ones, which is a bit cheaper, but honestly, I never really felt like it broke me....
