Another pumping question for mommies that exclusively pump
Are you able to also pump to store in the freezer for future use? I always have about a 2.5 day supply in the fridge, but it's only on rare occassions that I can pump a bag to freeze. DD eats 4oz typically but she's already 10 weeks and I'm sure will be looking for more soon. I ususally get anywhere between 2-3.5 ozs at a pumping session. Sometimes less.

Have you tried super pumping? You "should" be getting more than that Pump for 10 mins rest for 5 do that 3 Xin a row every 3 hrs for two days. You could also try More Milk-buy it at Whole Foods or online

Yes, I've tried every trick in the book to increase my supply.
Sometimes though especially during the week when I'm on my own with teh baby it's hard to pump every 3 hours.

Ohhhh I hear ya-my supply has seriously dipped since Declan is off BM until 6 mos when we will try to reintroduce(he has a milk allergy and even when I severely restricted my diet he was still refluxing etc.)
I only pump about 3 times a day and get about 30-36 oz total and have no freezer stash. Most days I have just enough for Ronan anbd sometimes he has to get formula once or twice a day. I would try that schedule one weekend when your DH is home or even drop it down to 20 minutes(2 cycles) You HAVE tried More Milk? Or no? Unfortunately-and i have to remind DH of this all the time. Pumping is not onloy a sacrifice of our time but of our partners. Its very hard to hold a baby while you pump. How about whe she naps?

Also wanted to ask-do you breast compressions while you pump? How long are your sessions?

Yes. I froze milk every day. I always rotated out fresh and frozen milk.

Depending on your pump you can easily use a hands free bra. It holds the pumping shields and you can easily pump and hold the baby. Scott really helped while I was pumping for the year. We were a team and I really needed his support.

Oh yeah, I do breast compressions as well! I am taking the More Milk, honestly, I don't see any increase in my supply. I'm trying to pump as long as possible, but sadly I don't see it lasting much longer. I do pump when she naps, basically that's all I can get done during her naps when DH is working. My pumping sessions are long too... I can pump for 30 minutes and only get 3oz total. I also pump in the middle of the night. During the week, I have to do the middle of the night feedings (and DD is a liesurely eater, feeding her is about an hour even at 3:00 am). I pump after I feed her, so if she gets up at 3:00 am to eat, I feed her, pump and get back to bed by 5:00 only to take an hour to fall back asleep and then have to get up and feed her again around 7:30...
During the weekends, DH has full responsibility for DD, he does all the feedings so I can pump, I do as you suggested on the weekends too, but it's not helping.
I guess I'm going to have to just keep doing what I'm doing. I do have a small supply in the freezer which I'll get through when I go back to work. After that, she's going to have to go on formula.

I'm trying to build a supply for when I go back to work, but unless my milk supply increases, I don't think I can do that. I'm not comfortable unless I have at least a 2.5 day supply in the fridge. If I rotated out fresh and frozen milk, I wouldn't have the supply I need in the fridge.
