another Q...about how much per month do you spend on baby supplies?

can you estimate what you spend each month on baby supplies?

ie: diapers, food, etc...

i am planning on breast feeding so i dont think i will need to calculate formula into the mix..unless of course BFing dosnt work out

sorry, clueless mom to be...trying to estimate my budget as we will be purchasing our first home and about 6 months after we move in we will have our first baby.

Depends on your families I think. WE didn't even buy diapers until they were 3.5 months old...I still have only bought a few items of clothing.

Count on a couple of hundred a month - maybe two to three hundred -- you'll need wipes, diapers, baby clothes, pajamas, baby shampoo, bottles, pacifiers -- and other things that will come up as babies needs change.


Formula is also pretty expensive

I can't really say but I know that out of a monthly BJ's shopping trip, a good $100 goes towards baby supplies (diapers, wipes, bottle liners, baby food, cheerios, raviolis, etc)
on top of that I buy other baby food separate.

I would say at least $200 a month (DS is not on formula anymore...but I would imagine it would be about the same)
