another question about brushes (and I could earn a dunce cap for this one)
if you are allergic to wool, would a brush made out of goat hairs be NG (ie no good)?
it says it's "natural" which to me reads "soft and good for sensitive skin" but at the same time...I can't even wear merino wool for fear of a reaction...
what is a girl to do??

so I guess you are answering my question by saying that I could have a reaction from these brushes?
I ask b/c I have no experience, so I presume that you do, and perhaps even suffer from a similar skin issue, and use synthetic brushes over natural brushes? Sometimes synthetic brushes can be irritating too.
saying buy synthetic brushes is kind of a no-brainer (I thought of that first) BUT if someone has actual information, it would prove invaluable to me.)
Thanks!

If you are allergic, then I would stick to a synthetic brush. If you are allergic to wool, than you will most likely get a reaction from some of those animal brushes (regardless of the grade). There are a ton of high-end make-up lines that sell high grade synthetic. I would go to a store (i,e. sephora or Ulta or rickeys or big dept store) and ask them whether their brushes are animal hair or synthetic and test them out and see which one is best for you!

I have had reactions to brushes. I can use some of the natural ones and I can usually tell by feel which ones I have had problems with before.
