Ok, DS has had to take Septra since Tuesday for a bacterial infection in his big toe. It's been a h*** of a week....Chat Icon

My question is, have any of your DCs had to take a sulfa (sp) drug before like Septra? And did it make them VERY tired all of the time? DS just wants to sleep and lay down and watch movies. And he is NOT one to sit still for more than two minutes. Also, he refuses to eat and has major runny diapers.... Is this all normal when taking this antibiotic? TIA for any advice or insight you guys can give me.... I feel so bad for my little guy. I know he has to take this medicine for his toe to continue to get better but I hate knowing that by giving it to him (and that alone is a struggle) his belly is upset and he is so tired.
