Another teething spinoff: Am I the only mother who has no idea which teeth her child has?

Seriously, I'm embarassed. We brush her teeth twice a day, and she's got a lot of them in there. But I have NO CLUE which ones she has and doesn't have. I couldn't tell you the names of them or anything.

LOL!! Don't worry, I'm right there with you! Btw, do you think it bothers them if/when you brush their teeth when they are going through painful teething symptoms?

Na-I only know the eye teeth because they are pointy, the molars because they are chunky and in the back and the 2-year molars because there is a gap there and I am assuming that is where the 2-year molars go.

ME!! DD will NOT let me anywhere near her mouth. She does a pretty good job of brushing her own teeth and I finish up to make sure she gets everything. She will open her mouth for me but NOT enough for me to look in only to get the brush in. I know when she is teething b.c she starts to madly drool and chew on her hands from time to time - but I have no idea which ones she actually has.

I am with you...I just keep saying he is getting a side tooth...and I will say it must hurt because its a fat one....

And I feel like a bad mom everytime someone asks how many teeth he has because honestly I have no clue, if they arent in front I can't see them as he wont let me hear his mouth to count!

We have NO idea. I am pretty sure he has most of them tho...he has like 50 million teeth

Nope, not the only one! I know DD's got a lot. That's about it!

I couldn't even tell you how many she has let alone which ones. I brush everything I can see and feel. I recently found a new molar by feel with the tooth brush. DD won't let me look. I have to get her laughing hysterically to even get a glimpse.

we think DS only has "12" b/c he was a late teether and thats how many we can find (you can see his front four on top and front four on bottom and the 4 molars). but we also dont really know whats going on inbetween, b/c we cant get into his mouth either

Not alone. I have no idea how many/which teeth DD has either.

You are def. not alone! I know my son has teeth but that's about it!
