Any GHI/NYPD girls out there?
Was your breast pump covered? I know many insurances cover it and curious if we have coverage before I call. Thanks.

If I recall correctly, they did not cover it, at least in 2012. It should be a covered expense under any FSA, though.

they do not cover it.
they use some bs excuse that our plan is exempt bc it is grandfathered in.
so no.
they aren't very mama friendly- and if you need special formula for you LO, they don't cover a ton.

GHI NYC doe is grandfathered - meaning. / they do NOT have to cover pump under obamacare.
I would assume nypd is same. Look on the website for PD- GHI NYC employees says not covered.
