Any moms with 2 kiddies in daycare feel the same way

Its like a race for time when i get home. DD just started daycare yesterday. DS had been going 2 days a week for a couple of months. Now they are both full time.

I get the kids at 7:30pm get home give DS a bath give him a snack, bath DD (which i dont do every night b/c she has very very dry skin), bf her give her oatmeal. Whew i am getting winded just talkign about it.

usually i just put DD down to bed first (8:30pm) then i get DS ready for bed and he goes down at (9:00pm).

What is your schedule like?

I only have 1 and it's insanity from the minute I walk in the door till about 9PM, and I don't pick DS up either!
I walk in the door, try to fid something for dinner, all while I try to find time for Gavin. Then give him a bath, jammies, bottle, try to read a book, then off to bed.
THEN I make lunches and clean up. I am totally wiped by 9 falling asleep on the couch....
I CANNOT for the life of me, imagine your situation.....

My life is like this with one.

i get home about 6 (often DH does the pick up)

but then it is dinner, bath, reading, laundry, cleaning, lunch prep, taking my own shower so i dont have to in the morning and ususally i bring work home

I will have #2 soon and I already know DH is going to have to help with the baths

I have 2 in daycare part time, but full days the day's they are there (8 - 5:30). I race home from work to get there in time, by the time I get them in the car and home its close to 6pm. I try to get into my jammies, or something more comfy (not always successful.) DS is usually screaming to be fed and DD is always cranky and needy. They don't nap well at daycare and they get home hungry. So I race to make something, get them bathed and/or play for a bit, books, bottle (DS) and in bed by 8.

DH usually gets home sometime right after they eat.

Its EXHAUSTING!!!! I feel for you having to do it every day

I wish i had DH to help me but he doesnt get home until 10pm. He takes care of getting the kids out in the morning though. I dont get to bed until 11:30pm on most nights. Its insanity I have to find a job closer to home. Getting home at 7:30pm is way too late. I feel like i am rushing the kids all the time.
