any one have seizures along with autism

i am asking for my sister..my 8 year old niece has autism and has had seizures on and off for a few years..she has had some testing done and docs told my sis autistic kids have a 30 percent chance more of developing seizures

today she got some results back and they said she had fluid leaking from the back of her brain and want her to go on meds

anyone have any experience with this or any info i can pass on to my sister

Not at the moment, but I have read something similar, it's not uncommon for them to occur in children with autism.

Hopefully this won't happen for your sister!
