Any parents of 2 who drive a sedan?
We are looking into getting a sedan instead of our current 4x4 since they are so much more economical. I am, however, worried about the lack of space and the much smaller trunk.
If you do drive a sedan with two car seats/busters on the back would you mind telling me which car you have and how you like it?

I did. It was fine for room in the back seat... trunk was OK also. As long as you don't have a baby ( stroller) most sedans are sufficient in size IMHO.

I have a Hyundai Elantra. I have one car seat & one booster, but for a while, I had 2 car seats. I have no complaints. I wouldn't want to be the person sitting between the car seats, but they seats alone fit just fine. The trunk is roomy enough, IMO, too.

Re: Any parents of 2 who drive a sedan?
We have a PT Cruiser. Not exactly a sedan, but close. Had it before DC, and DS is almost 8, and DD is almost 5, so we've been through the infant seats, one infant seat and one convertible, rear-facing seats, etc, etc. Never had a problem. And enough room in the "trunk" for a sit-and-stand stroller and diaper bags.

We have a Camry and I have always felt like there is plenty of trunk space. I was able to get my double stroller and whatever shopping I'd done in there together.
Now DH uses that car most of the time but I still prefer it to our minivan.

Re: Any parents of 2 who drive a sedan?
When I just had the two girls, I drove a Honda Accord. I never felt cramped and the trunk fit our purposes just fine. We even drove down to NC twice with both girls in that car and all of our stuff...including Pack n Play, strollers, etc.

I have a Honda Accord and have been happy with it. I have 2 Britax's back there. I can go food shopping with the stroller in the trunk too. The trunk is surprisingly big.

Re: Any parents of 2 who drive a sedan?
Right now DH drives a 1999 Audi A4 and it's small! He's looking for a new car now and was thining of getting the RDX for more room, but he's actually leaning towards getting a new Audi A4. The back seat is 6in bigger then what he has now.
