Any Recommendations for a Long Island Local Hotel for a Romantic Overnight Stay for Valentine's Day?
I wasn't aware that the Garden City Hotel rooms are under renovation until late Feb. Anyone know anything about The Viana Hotel in Westbury and also about The Marco Polo Restaurant inside of it?
Any other recommendations?
My husband and I wanted to do an overnight on V-Day but local.
Thanks

We won an overnight stay at the Viviana through liw and it was much nicer then I expected. Everything about the room was very relaxing. They also have the spa available. The massage was great. My only complaint was that the walls in the spa were thin so I could everything going on in the hallway. I would go back to the hotel again but would avoid the spa this time.

Thanks to everyone who's responded so far. East Wind is all sold out. The Viana only has standard rooms left, packages are sold out. As for the Hyatt Regeny and The Hyatt Windwatch, they feel to close to home and "simple". Fox Hollow has availability, but we've been there so I'm not too sure yet. As for the Claremont it is sold out. I never heard of some that were recommended all the way out east, I'll look into them.
Thanks

Have you been to Toppoing Rose House? We want GOOD food too, how's the restaurant there?
May sound odd but not sure if I feel like driving all the way to Long Beach? How highly do you recommend Allegra?

Before being a sahm mom I was in luxury travel. Topping rose house is a very nice boutique hotel. As far as the restaurant it's one of the best in ny. Tom collichio is a famous chef. He's a judge on top chef. I didn't eat at that restaurant (it just opened last year), but his restaurant craft in the city is amazing! As is his others....

I live out here and i've heard amazing things about it. I have yet to go myself. Someone i went to school with is a chef in the kitchen. He posts their dishes on FB all the time. They look good and again i haven't heard anyone say anything remotely bad about it. Everyone has said it's phenomenal.

I think so yeah. As for the Resturant, I don't know. We went to baci for dinner. I didn't even know they had one so maybe that answers your question.
