any suggestions (sleep related)
My dd is almost 4 months and sttn from 8-9pm - 7-8am. But within those wonderful sleeping hours I wake up 5-8 times to put the binky back in to keep her sleeping. She can fall asleep without it and usually does but about 3-4 hours later she will start crying in her sleep. I see and hear it on the monitor. I wait a minute or so and then walk into her room, put the binky in and she is sound asleep in 2 seconds. This routine continues every hour or two until she is up for the day. I am very lucky she goes as long as she does but my sleeps are so broken up. Is there any tricks or ideas you have to reduce/eliminate the # of binky returns overnight or should I just be thankful for what I have? TIA

Have you tried a wubbanub? DD has figured out how to put it back into her mouth herself. Although I seem to recall that your daughter sleeps on her stomach and I don't think I'd want to have DD with a pacifier with a beanie doll face down so it might not work for you.
I do agree with you that it would drive me crazy to have to constantly go in there to soothe her. Maybe you need different overnight diapers so she doesn't get uncomfortable when she wets hers?
I hope someone else has some self-soothing solutions for you! Good luck!

I would just stop giving her the binky when it falls off and let her get used to that. If she is crying really bad then I would give it but if she is just whining I would let it go. Give it a few days and see what happens.
