Any tips for morning routine?
DD( 17 mos) starts at daycare tomorrow and DH and I are not the best morning people What do you do to get ready and out of the house on time??
I am already planning her 5 day wardrobe on Sunday nights and I dont need to pack a lunch b/c they provide. But we will feed her breakfast before we go.

Re: Any tips for morning routine?
Hve the daycare bag packed each night if there is anything that she needs (won't be every single day but on occassion). If you are bringing sippy cups make those the night before as well.
Love your idea for laying out the clothes Sunday night..that will be a huge help. I do it each night but might steal this idea!
Get your bags/lunch/clothes ready the night before.
Decide in advance what has to get done in the morning and try to split it with DH. For example..this is the morning in our household:
5am - I wake to pump 5:30 am - DH wakes and makes the bed while I jump in the shower 5:45 am - DH gets DS2 and feeds the bottle I pumped then changes and dresses him. 6:00 am - DS1 wakes and eats breakfast 6:15 am - DH dresses DS1 and helps him wash up and makes his bed 6:30 am - grab the bags and get the kids in the car and I take them to daycare.

Try to plan as much as you can during the weekend and the nights before. I also used to make daycare piles on Sunday night with piles of diapers, bibs, etc. so I didnt have to run around the house pulling from all over. I also plan outfits for everyone, set the coffee pot, think about what is for breakfast the night before.

Hey Ang,
I bought this clothing organizer from Lillian Vernon. I needed to make sure that if DH was getting DD ready in the morning, she wouldn't leave the house in a mismatched outfit ( he means well but is fashion challenged)

I like those organizers! You got them at Lillian Vernon?
I agree with Ang's response-that is our routine as well-pretty close. We find it helpful to pack everything the night before, make bottles, lunches, etc.
Hope that helps, and wishing you an easy transition!

OH I really like those! Need to check them out...NOW! If I don't lay them out each night the boys walk out in some crazy outfits!
Here you're asking for tips and I'm taking them from you

Ooh, I like those organizers!!!
I agree with everyone else, pack everything including your own purse etc. the night before. If you make bottles, do them the night before etc. Also, consider showering (yourself) before bed if you don't already do that to save some time. Good luck!
