any tips on calming kids during diaper change?
My DS (1 month today!) HATES having his diaper changed and screams the whole time. .
anyone have any tips for making this easier?
or did anyone have this w/ your LO's and they grew out of this?

I had that w/ DS! And he still screams almost 2 years later. You can try distracting him with a toy or mobile, but in the end, I think they hate the cold air and being exposed, so just learn to change him as quickly as possible!

OMG two years later! that is sooooo not comforting!

At 1m, I don't think anyone has a peaceful diaper change. They are just waking up from being a groggy newborn, and everything annoys them.
At around 3m, it started to be a little fun, we'd play games and such... bicycles, arms up and down, kick kick kick, I'd clap his hands, his feet, massages, sing..
When he started to crawl and pull up, it started to get crazy again - but much worse than it ever was at 1m.
I found out about something, and I applied what I learned, and found I could have peaceful diaper change at 9m, 10m, 12m - wish I knew about this sooner
