Any Vegans out there?
I just read the book Skinny B!tch and basically they recommend living a Vegan lifestyle. I'm not a big meat eater to begin with, but was wondering if anyone else made the switch.

Re: Any Vegans out there?
I did. I actually found out I had some pretty severe allergies which is why I had gained so much weight. I ended up reading Skinny B!tch to help get me prepared. I thoroughly enjoy being vegan (I won't lie... I would love some cheese or eggs sometimes) but I have so much more energy since the switch. I am working on going gluten free now because I seem to have developed an intolerane to it.
Good luck! If there is anything I can help you with let me know.

Thanks for the encouragement. I just can't see myself eating meat and dairy products after reading that book.!

Re: Any Vegans out there?
I am pretty much a vegan at the moment but I am not hardcore about it (for example, if I am eating out, I don't double check to make sure my veggies aren't cooked in butter, etc.) I definitely feel better overall for the most part, but I am having a hard time keeping weight on right now, so I am undecided as to whether I am going to stick with it.

Re: Any Vegans out there?
I was super strict last year with it and was so lean, I loved it. I am going back to that right now. I never eat meat and I am not a huge fan of dairy or eggs at all so there is no reason for me not to just stick with it. I just reacently have been trying to add yogurt to my diet and although I like it, my body doesn't respond well to it. So as of Monday I am going back to a vegan lifestyle. Mostly what I will be cutting out is the occasional gummy candy that I do enjoy but do not need and other products that are made with gelatin.
