I went into preterm labor at 30 weeks. I didn't even realize I was having contractions but they noticed it at my regular ob appt. Went to hospital to be checked out and was 2 cm. Put me on magnesium and 2 shots of steroids. Went home from hospital after about 2 weeks on procardia and strict bed rest.
I stopped the procradia at 36 weeks and wound up delivering at 37 weeks via c section (DS was breech).
Luckily everything turned out fine.

Nope. I drink a ton of water. I drank 48 oz in the past three hours. I went to my perinatologist on Friday and she confirmed I am having full blown contractions but they are irregular. Tonight I have severe menstrual like cramps that won't let up.they are mainly on my right lower side, just above my pelvis. The baby is head down and already dropped. Also sorry for the tmi but for the past five days, no matter what I eat, I am in the bathroom.

I went into preterm labor at 32 weeks...baby was very low, I had a test showing I could go into labor wihtin 2 weeks, had steroid shots and was dehydrated...ended up on bed rest for 5 weeks and then had a Csection at 37 weeks for preeclampsia and all is ok today

I did starting at about 24 weeks (possibly soonerr)..I was in and out of the hospital. It felt like menstral cramps and also tightness. I was on procardia.

I was on bedrest and stayed pregnant until 32 weeks and had an emergency c section.

I was in preterm labor at 24 weeks. I went to my periantologist for my regular visit and told him i was having contractions. My cervix got really short and i had to go to brooklyn for an emergency cerclage. I was put on procardia and some other kind of medicine. I forgot the name of it and that helped but i still had contractions here and there. I was on bedrest and at 32 weeks my water broke. I delivered via emergency c-section the next day. I would definitely call your Dr if you are really concerned.

I went into preterm labor at 34 weeks. Was admitted to hospital and given shots of terbutaline and then a pill for and was put on bedrest until I was 37 weeks. Then the little bugger came a week late! My preterm labor was due to dehydration. I thought I was drinking enough but was not. Turns out I needed more than water (electrolytes) so I began drinking a glass of diluted gatorade every hour on the hour
