Anybody use Islip Town Pre-K classes?

So, even though its still early, I got the Town of Islip activities booklet and was surprised to find they have Pre-K and Tiny Tots (for 3 year olds) programs and they are sooo reasonably priced. Honestly, we cannot afford much (hopefully by the time Liam is 3 we'll be in a better place financially). I was impressed with the prices & the location (we would use the Greenbelt location).

Anybody use them? Advice, tips, etc?

DD is enrolled in the nursery school program, she will start in the fall..it is the building off irish lane..i have friends whose children went there and they were very happy with it..the teachers seem to care and show interest, when i was signing her up the teacher remembered all these kids and parents who had not been there in a few years, no enrolling the younger sibling..she was a very sweet lady.

thanks!! And the price I'm reading in booklet, is that accurate? It seems almost too low to be true. $70 for the whole school year (2 days a week for the tiny tots program).

Oh sounds great. I was going to sign my DS up for Mommy and Me but the price of my DD's preschool is a lot plus his class would send me over the top monthly. This might be a better option for us. I have to see if I can fnd the website....

Re: Anybody use Islip Town Pre-K classes?

my 5yr old did the pre k at the town of islp school (diff location) and he loved it. My 3 yr old will be doing the tiny tot program this fall and is looking foward to it. The cost is $70 per month NOT school yr, but it is still cheaper then most. The classes also fill up really fast (at least they do over by me) so if you havn't signed up you should deff. call.
