I didnt get it done - I would have liked to see the baby again, but the doctor said it's not necessary, so I didnt do it.

I did it.
I'm over 35 and babies conceived by ICSI (where they inject the sperm into the egg) for IVF have a higher chance of Downs.
They checked and all was fine.
On a related note, I decided not to have an amnio due to the result of the ultrascreen and the high degree of false positives.
