Anyone else GET Fifth's Disease during pregnancy?

My second round of blood tests just came back positive for a recent infection. My Mom had it on July 4th, I had it on the 14-16th, and Ava got the rash last Friday.

Now I need to go to Madonna once or twice a week to for sonos and dopplers to make sure Baby Brody doesn't build up fluid on any of his organs.

I am 32 weeks now, and have a scheduled c-section at 38 weeks, 1 day. They say if they see anything in the sonos, that I will get steriods and they will deliver asap.....

Say a little prayer for us..

Has this happened to anyone else??

Thank GOD is was later in your pregnancy. The most dangerous time is in the first tri so you should be fine! Just lots of monitoring.
I was exposed at 6 weeks by my niece. Have no idea how I didn't get it since she is like my own DD. But I did a lot of research and only 5% of cases while the mother is pregnant and gets Fifths result in any complications. And these usually occur in the first tri.

I had to get tested for it because I had been exposed but it was negative

You are very lucky you got it after 30 weeks

I think you will be ok, with the monitoring. I know first trimester is dangerous.

That was actually one thing I was highly immune to. I worked with children years ago and got anything and everything, so I wasn't surprised.

I think you will be well taken care of and it will be ok.

I was exposed 3 times in the beginning of my pregnancy and didnt get it.

I think you will be fine with monitoring!
