Anyone else taking a forced break this month
I just got a call from my RE and she said that my egg retrieval will fall on Christmas and the places she is using are closed down for 2 weeks during the holidays. So I am on a forced break.
I am bummed, but hoping the break will be good for me and give the herbs and supplements I am using a chance to do their job.

Anyone else taking a forced break this month
Me!! I was told the labs are closed the week between Christmas and new years. Boo!!!
I am hoping to start the new year off on a positive note.

You can always squeeze in an IUI to pass the time. That's what I'm doing.

Me too. The lab is not doing retrievals the week of Christmas. I think they are doing IUIs though. I hope I can do my frozen cycle though. Will find out more when I see my RE on the 20th.

We have been on a break since August so we can hopefully improve our male infertility issue. I feel your pain.

I would, but I don't want to dip into what little insurance I have left, or pay out in cash. The odds are so slim that the IUI would work I would rather put it towards IVF.
I am hoping for some Christmas miracle since I am ovulating over Christmas. Maybe, just maybe it will happen on its own.
