I am content. I am dreading April 15th when the kids are scheduled to go back to school and normal life resumes.
Where are you at that told you 4/15? I thought the entire country was 4/30 now at least. The peak is supposed to come to NY at the end of April so no way are they going back then.
Some districts haven't gotten around to updating it since the new 4/30 date came out
I figured people would just assume.
Our district just sent out an email today saying school will start 4/15. They are waiting for Cuomo to make the formal announcement first to close schools further.

Anyone else totally ok home bound?
I am enjoying WFH. I normally wake up at 5am, take a 6:15am LIRR train into the city. Work from 7:30am to 6pm & then take a 6:15pm train back home. We are currently doing business plans since our year starts in July. Last week I was working 7am-8pm everyday so to be honest I was grateful to be working from home. I am really worried that I am going to struggle a lot once I have to start commuting everyday.

Yes. I became a sahm mom exactly a year ago. The first month I spent home. Then I got busy trying for another baby. Then just started o get my toddler out we went to the library. Dh and I are not really social people. We like spending time with each other. I now have newborns and a toddler and we have to plan how to all leave the house. I really miss family right now, for their help. I have seen some for very limited time.

This sounds exactly like my husband. He has been so much happier and less stressed out. Being able to sleep in later since he isn’t commuting in and having extra family time at night that would normally be spent commuting is making him a different person. We hadn’t realized the toll it was taking I guess. He’s happier, kids are happier, our relationship is even better. I’m legitimately concerned that he will be absolutely miserable when normal life resumes.
