Re: anyone find a convertable crib with drop down side?
Baby's Dream makes cribs with a drop-down side and are convertable to toddler/twin beds.
We have a stationary BD convertable, but only because we found it on clearance.
They are very well made.Baby's Dream

Re: anyone find a convertable crib with drop down side?
I have the Jardine Madison crib (it's older - 4 years) purchased @ BRU & they still have the same crib there to purchase now, and it has a drop down side and the drawer underneath....
I have had no problems with it at all....

BBB sells a brand of cribs that has one in the line that is a convertible one with the drop down side. I don't remember the name of the brand, but if you go in and ask they should know. I do remember that it was one of the nationally known brands and ones considered to be a "better" brand.

Re: anyone find a convertable crib with drop down side?
for DD#1 we bought a stationary convertible ragazzi crib that will turn out to be useless because 1. she bit the cr@p out of it, and 2. it converts to a toddler and then full (which currently does not fit in her room).
DD#2 has an even smaller room so we decided to get a smaller crib and dresser that will be thrown away once we move to a bigger house (we'll get her a nicer big girl set). we found a sorelle nadia crib in a pecan color at crib outlet in jersey. it had a drop side and converts to a daybed.

Oh, I just remembered, the brand BBB has that has a crib that is a convertible but has a drop side is Sorelle. I'm not sure which crib in the collection, but just ask them at BBB.
