* Anyone get their license in real estate?
1) If so, where did you go?
2) How were the classes?
3) Was the course work very difficult? Mediocre? or a piece of cake?
4) Is there a lot of math in the course/on the test?
Just curious!
thank you!

Re: * Anyone get their license in real estate?
ill post here so you can all get the info in one shot (aka, im lazy )
this is what DH said ...
"The name of the school i attended is called LISORE (long island school of real estate). They are located along Hempstead Tpke in Levittown. The school was good. The whole class cost a few hundred dollars. They weren't very hard but you needed to pay attention and do the reading. There was some math involved but on the entire test, there were probably only three or four questions that required basic math skills and you are able to use a calculator"

Re: * Anyone get their license in real estate?
1) If so, where did you go?
took it online with Kaplan
2) How were the classes?
did each lesson in about 15 minutes but you still need to do 75 hours
3) Was the course work very difficult? Mediocre? or a piece of cake?
I found it easy- with a few exceptions...leaseholds, estates- very legal stuff and lots of vocab- things you never really use
4) Is there a lot of math in the course/on the test?
yes- not hard- very logically
I got an 80 on the final and passed the state test (it's pass/fail)
