Anyone going to Italy soon? I need Nutella

I am as serious as a heart attack Chat Icon

I am running out of what I bought when I was there in June.

I can't do the New Jersey or Canada version.

TIA!

We just got Nutella at Costco last week.

Is the one you buy there different?

How about another country? I am going to Germany in January and could you bring you back some! I know it's not right around the corner, but I would have no problem bringing some back!

There's a difference between the nutella they sell here and the nutella in Europe.

Ophelia - Do any speciality Italian markets carry the real deal? I'm sure you've looked though.

I think Ferrara sells the real deal no?

I finished mine a few months ago but I bought some American Nutella and I just finished eating some right now. . . LOL

Re: Anyone going to Italy soon? I need Nutella

thanks.

Anita I'll check in Greenpoint...I hardly ever get over there but it may be worth it. perhaps tomorrow I'll take a stroll over to little Italy and check some places out there.

for those that are totally Chat Icon I am well aware they sell nutella in those little plastic jars all over the place.

I hate it.

it tastes different to me, as I am spoiled by the Euro variety. that probably makes me an elitist snob and I accept that Chat Icon I wish it wasn't the case b/c it's found everywhere...but I am happy to know that every Euro i've met here agrees with me so I am not crazy (I was thisclose to picking up a hottie at Key Food (a Euro) over this very issue!!! he hated amero-canadian nutella too Chat Icon )

anyhow...anyone going abroad, I will take any nutella you bring back for me off of your hands...so please remember me, even if it's a year from now.

we use it CONSTANTLY in my house.

thanks all!Chat Icon

I asked the guys at Little Italy in Monroe (845 782-5934), the Nutella they have on the shelf is made in the US.
But he said he could order a case of the imported if I wanted it, would take a about 10-14 days.
I could pick it up for you OR you could pick it up your own dang self if you'd ever close already! Chat Icon Chat Icon

You should have asked me to bring some back from the UK, we get the huge bottles of Euro stuff at Costco, they are supercheap also. Alas, I am back to England tomorrow...
