My cousin just called me all upset because the quad screen came back at elevated levels. They had an appointment at the genetic counselor today and they said it looks like the baby has an extra chromosome somewhere and did an amnio today, they will have the results friday. She is 16 weeks and the baby is measuring 14 weeks 2 days.

This is her 2nd pregnancy. She was 4 weeks behind me but miscarried in February at 10 weeks.

Anyone have any experience with anything like this??

She is really scared and im hoping everything comes back normal. Can the quad screening come back elevated and then the amnio come back normal??
